Rule 67
Monitoring and inspection of children's homes

(1) The local child rights committee will regularly monitor and inspect the children's homes within the local level.
(2) Ministries, councils and provincial child rights committees of the respective provinces can make action plans and conduct monitoring and emergency inspections of children's homes as needed.
(3) During the monitoring and inspection according to sub-rules (1) and (2), if it is found that the relevant children's home does not comply with the standards prescribed by the prevailing law, necessary instructions shall be given and if it is found that there is an action contrary to the prevailing law within such children's home, it shall be recommended to the relevant agency for action.
(4) It shall be the duty of the concerned orphanage to comply with the instructions as per sub-rule (3).
(5) The monitoring and inspection officer of the children's home shall submit the monitoring and inspection report to the agency assigned to him.
